The door is in.
It can be said, that at 99.2% complete, the project is done. What is left to do on the actual structure would take perhaps an hour or so, a little bit of painting, a couple of pieces of trim, maybe a little sealant here and there once the dry weather comes, perhaps we will even clean the windows now...
It is basically three months from the date of the original purchase of the door and wooden windows and it has been quite an adventure. All that procurement and transportation, planning, building, talking and blogging. It seems that at most times during those 91 days we have been excited about the progress of the greenhouse, sometimes amazed at how cheap we have bought materials (especially the polycarbonate) and how lucky we have been with free stuff from local people.
The spreadsheet calculates that we have spent less than $470 on materials for the project.
What is next besides the remaining 0.8% of the structure?
Planning for some raised beds, considering where to add hooks and brackets for hanging baskets (to encourage the bees) and wondering what else we are going to grow besides tomatoes and peppers in the new season that awaits us.
